Turkey-Based Scholar Maulana Nadvi Addresses Japan's Muslim Community

Maulana Sharafat Ullah Nadvi, a prominent Islamic scholar based in Turkey known for his contribution to establishing mosques in Bangladesh and other countries, spoke to Japan Bangla News about the situation facing Muslims living abroad, with a particular focus on Japan's Muslim community amid recent social, religious, and political developments in the country.
In the interview, he addressed the importance of maintaining faith, Islamic values, family bonds, and the religious education of children, while also encouraging positive relationships with the wider Japanese society.
Maulana Nadvi said that despite the challenges of life abroad, Muslims should hold firmly to their religious identity and principles while respecting Japan's laws and social values, playing a constructive role in the community. He placed particular emphasis on raising the next generation with Islamic education and called on the Muslim community in Japan to unite in carrying out religious and social activities together.
