Our activities

The organization continues its efforts to convey the noble message of Islam to people living in different prefectures throughout Japan. As part of these efforts, it has been involved in establishing mosques, promoting Islamic teachings through mosque-centered activities, providing Qur'an and Islamic education for children, young people, and adults, organizing Khatm-e-Tarawih prayers at various locations during Ramadan, holding large-scale Eid celebrations, Seerah gatherings, Islamic educational programs, and various other da'wah activities.

Under the supervision of the Islamic Cultural Foundation, an affiliated organization of Islamic Mission Japan, several mosques have already been established in Tokyo and Ibaraki, as well as the Baitul Aman Mosque Complex in Saitama. Efforts to establish additional mosques are continuing.

In today's materialistic society, many people are becoming increasingly immersed in worldly pursuits and material pleasures. As a result, some experience a loss of inner peace and struggle with serious social and personal problems, while families and relationships are also facing increasing challenges.

In this situation, the noble teachings and values of Islam can provide people with spiritual peace and guidance toward a meaningful way of life. To introduce Islam to Japanese people, Islamic Mission Japan organizes cultural exchange programs, curry parties, and various intercultural and community events.

Everyone associated with Islamic Mission Japan is also encouraged to convey the message of Islam to Japanese people at an individual level.

The Qur'an and Hadith are the authentic sources of Islamic knowledge. Islamic Mission Japan maintains a central library containing Qur'anic, Hadith, and Islamic literature translated into various languages.

For the message of Islam to be effectively conveyed in Japan, it is essential to publish and distribute Islamic literature in the Japanese language. With this objective, the organization continues to publish and distribute Islamic books in Japanese.

Many children born into Muslim families in Japan are deprived of a proper understanding of Islam due to a lack of Islamic education and an Islamic environment. Islamic Mission Japan works to provide these children with appropriate Islamic education.

To nurture young people as practicing and knowledgeable Muslims, the organization regularly conducts Islamic classes in the Japanese language. Youth camps and cultural programs are also organized on a regular basis.

Through these initiatives, the organization seeks to help the next generation become enlightened with Islamic knowledge, consciousness, and a sense of responsibility, enabling them to contribute to Japanese society and play the role of Muslim da'is in promoting Islamic values.

Islamic Mission Japan has been engaged in various social welfare activities for both Muslims and non-Muslims living in Japan. These include assistance with employment-related issues, access to medical services for foreign residents, support for funeral and burial arrangements, and assistance with repatriating the deceased to their home countries.

The organization also provides assistance during natural disasters and emergencies in Japan, including tsunamis and crises following earthquakes.

Beyond Japan, Islamic Mission Japan also seeks to contribute, as part of its moral responsibility, to addressing national and international crises in various countries around the world.
