IMJ Mourns the Passing of Women's Wing Official's Father
Islamic Mission Japan has announced with deep sorrow the death of Md. Fazlul Haque, 82, father of Razia Bilkis Mimi, an official of the organisation's Women's Wing. He passed away on Monday morning at approximately 7:55 a.m. at a hospital in Satkhira District, Bangladesh, while under ICU care.
Haque had undergone gallbladder surgery the previous Thursday and remained under intensive care until his death. IMJ Central President Hafez Saber Ahmed and General Secretary Abdullah Al Maruf have expressed their profound grief and condolences over his passing.
The funeral prayer and burial will take place in his home area of Kamalnagar, Satkhira, at the graveyard adjacent to the local mosque. He is survived by three children — two daughters and a son — the youngest of whom is Razia Bilkis Mimi.
Islamic Mission Japan has prayed for Allah's forgiveness and mercy upon the deceased and for patience and strength for the bereaved family.
