Islamic Mission Japan's Kanagawa Chapter held a "Reception & Career Guideline Program" at Sagamihara Eidgah Mosque to welcome newly arrived Bangladeshi students studying at language schools in Kanagawa and to provide them with practical guidance for life in Japan.

The program opened with a Qur'an recitation by Hafez Maulana Akmalul Haque, president of the Sagamihara sub-chapter, and was moderated by Abdullah Muhammad Saleh, secretary of the Kanagawa Chapter. Maulana Majedul Islam, central vice-president of Islamic Mission Japan, attended as chief guest and spoke on the importance of preserving one's Muslim identity while living in Japan, urging students to view their lives and careers as means of serving Islam and the Muslim community.

Kazi Abidur Rahman Shishir, Baitul Mal secretary of the Yokohama sub-chapter, spoke on Japanese culture, the education system, and effective study planning, while Engineer Mahidul Islam, Baitul Mal secretary of the Kanagawa Chapter, gave detailed guidance on higher education, skills development, and career planning based on practical experience.

In his remarks as chair, Kanagawa Chapter president Engineer Shawkat Akbar said Muslims must give equal importance to both their worldly and afterlife careers, and that Islamic Mission Japan works to support people in both. Attending students welcomed the initiative and expressed interest in taking part in future programs.
