Islamic Mission Japan's Kanagawa chapter organized a discussion session titled "Ramadan in Japan" together with a community Iftar gathering, held for the Bangladeshi Muslim community living in Kanagawa Prefecture.

The event took place at the Wamada Sakuragaoka Community Center in Kanagawa. Sarwar Hossain Zoha, a member of Islamic Mission Japan's Central Advisory Council, attended as chief guest, while Engineer Shawkat Akbar, president of the Kanagawa chapter, presided over the program. Chapter workers, supporters, well-wishers and community members from various professions attended with their families.

Speakers at the discussion highlighted the significance of Ramadan for Muslims living abroad, emphasizing self-purification, mutual harmony and the practice of Islamic values. They described Ramadan as a unique opportunity for self-restraint, attaining taqwa, and strengthening brotherhood and empathy within the community.

The program concluded with a collective prayer and Iftar shared by all attendees.
