Islamic Mission Japan (IMJ) Central President Hafez Saber Ahmed, who also serves as khatib of Baitul Aman Masjid in Saitama Prefecture, took part in a dinner meeting held in his honor with prominent figures of the Bangladeshi community during a visit to Fukuoka. Held in a cordial atmosphere, the gathering touched on social, religious and family matters affecting expatriate Bangladeshis, as well as the future of the next generation.

As chief guest, Hafez Saber Ahmed stressed the importance of Bangladeshis living in Japan respecting the country's laws, social values and culture, describing this not merely as a legal obligation but as a mark of a conscious and responsible citizen. He called for newcomers in particular to be made aware of Japanese law and social realities, and said he had advised the Bangladesh Ambassador on arranging pre-departure orientation covering Japanese law, social conduct, work culture and civic duty for prospective migrants.

He also spoke on raising unity and mutual cooperation among expatriates, encouraging attendees to forgive one another's shortcomings and to build a culture of prayer and goodwill for one another. Turning to the second generation growing up abroad, he warned that excessive use of mobile and digital devices poses a major challenge, and called on parents to nurture children in morality, religious values, academic excellence and social responsibility so they grow up as good Muslims who also respect Japan's laws and culture. He noted that Baitul Aman Academy in Saitama has long worked toward this goal through religious, moral and modern education.

The meeting was attended by figures from various professions within the Fukuoka Bangladeshi community, including Muhammad Zahurul Haque, Mahbub Ilahi, Abrar Hossain, Nasir Uddin, Enamul Haque, Saifur Rahman, Sumon Hossain, Mohammad Wasim, Helal Uddin Rony, Toyob Taher, Dr. Helal Uddin and Masud Alam. Speakers praised the president's remarks as timely and forward-looking, and called for such exchange meetings to continue. A dinner followed the session, during which participants held informal discussions on community relations and future initiatives.
