Seeratun Nabi Gathering and Qur'an Competition Set for Aichi
The Islamic Cultural Foundation Japan will hold a Seeratun Nabi (life of the Prophet) gathering together with an international Qur'an recitation and hifz (memorization) competition on Sunday, August 16, starting at 11:00 a.m. The event will take place at the Shibukawa Welfare Center in Wariasahi City, Aichi Prefecture.
Organizers say the gathering is open to all Muslims in Aichi, Gifu, Mie, Shizuoka, and neighboring areas, with lunch and refreshments provided for attendees. The Qur'an competition will feature categories for children and young people of various ages, and participating children will receive gifts.
Organizers also indicated that a significant announcement concerning the wider community in the region will be made during the event. Families and friends across the Chubu area are invited to attend.
