Osaka Chapter Holds Online Seminar on the Significance of Ashura

Islamic Mission Japan's Osaka Chapter held an online Islamic seminar on the teachings and significance of Ashura in a believer's life, drawing Muslim residents from across Japan to join via video call.
Moshharraf Hossain Faizy, director of Markazul Lugah Al-Arabiya, delivered the keynote talk, discussing the special status of the month of Muharram, the liberation of Prophet Musa (AS) and his followers from Pharaoh, and the martyrdom of Hussain (RA) at Karbala as a lesson in sacrifice and standing against injustice.
The session also covered the virtue of fasting on Ashura, citing hadith on its merits, and encouraged participants to observe the day with reflection on its historical and spiritual lessons.
