Kansai Chapter Holds Eid Reunion and Newcomers' Welcome Program in Osaka

Islamic Mission Japan's Kansai Chapter held an Eid reunion and newcomers' welcome program at Ikuno Kumin Center in Osaka's Ikuno City, drawing a warm turnout from the local Muslim community.
Abdul Malek, Chairman of the Islamic Cultural Foundation Japan and a member of the organisation's Central Advisory Council, attended as chief guest. He spoke about the challenges faced by Muslims living abroad and how to address them, while also emphasizing the role and importance of community-based institutions such as Islamic Mission Japan in supporting expatriates.
Shahriar Kamal, Central Secretary for Education and Training and a member of the Central Advisory Council, delivered the welcome address to newcomers. Mohammad Rafiq Aziz, Supervisor of the Kansai Chapter, spoke as special guest under the chairmanship of Osaka Chapter President Mushfiq Al Mehedi, offering guidance on Japan's laws and regulations as well as the importance of language skills for succeeding in the Japanese job market.
The program, hosted by Osaka Chapter Secretary Miyaji Mohammad Alauddin, included flowers and gifts for newcomers, a book corner, a quiz competition with prizes, and dinner.
