Islamic Mission Japan's Kanagawa Chapter held an Eid reunion gathering at Sagamihara Eidgah Mosque, bringing together Muslim residents from across the region to celebrate the festival together. The event was organized to strengthen ties of friendship, brotherhood, and Islamic consciousness among Muslims living away from their home countries.

The program was chaired by Kanagawa Chapter President Showkat Akbar, with Islamic Mission Japan Central Vice President Majedul Islam attending as chief guest.

In his address, the chief guest reflected on the lessons of sacrifice drawn from the life of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), emphasizing his unconditional obedience to Allah as a model for believers. He noted that Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his beloved son Ismail (AS) for the sake of Allah's pleasure illustrates the highest priority that obedience to Allah should hold in a believer's life.

He further urged attendees to uphold Islamic values and principles amid personal, family, or social hardships, and called for greater mutual cooperation and active engagement in religious work while living abroad. Organizers expressed hope that such gatherings would continue to foster brotherhood, unity, and Islamic awareness among the expatriate Muslim community.
