Jamaat-e-Islami Chief Urges Bangladeshi Expatriates in Japan to Strengthen Ties and Nation-Building Role

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Ameer (chief) of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, addressed Bangladeshi expatriates living in Japan, urging them to strengthen ties with one another and to stay closely connected with developments back home.
According to a report carried by Bangladeshi media, Dr. Rahman emphasized that expatriates play a vital role in the country's progress and should continue contributing to nation-building even while living abroad. He also spoke about the importance of unity within the community and encouraged Bangladeshis in Japan to uphold their religious and cultural values.
The remarks come as Dr. Rahman is set to be honored at a civic reception organized in Tokyo, where members of the Bangladeshi community, including representatives of Islamic Mission Japan, are expected to gather to welcome him.
