IMJ Forms New Ibaraki-Bando Sub-Chapter Committee

Islamic Mission Japan held a setup and general meeting after Maghrib prayer on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Iwai Bando Mosque to formally establish a new sub-chapter covering the Ibaraki-Bando area.
The meeting was attended by IMJ Central Committee Secretary General Engineer Maruf as chief guest, alongside Islamic Cultural Foundation Japan Director Hafez Alauddin as special guest. The proceedings were conducted by Saitama-Ibaraki Chapter President Hasan Masud and Secretary Engineer Shahin Ali.
Attendees unanimously elected the sub-chapter's first committee: Hafez Hossain Moniri as President, Belal Hossain as Vice President, and Maulana Zubair Hossain as Secretary. Islamic Mission Japan congratulated the newly elected officials and expressed hope that they will serve the local Muslim community through da'wah and welfare activities.
