Islamic Mission Japan Announces New Central Committee for 2026–2028

Islamic Mission Japan held its Central Members' Conference and Education Camp on May 3, 2026, at Gamo Hall in Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture. Members present at the conference directly elected Hafez Maulana Saber Ahmed as central president for the 2026–2028 session.

The conference was attended as chief guest by Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Leader of the Opposition in the Bangladesh National Parliament and Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, along with special guests Saiful Alam Khan Milon, a member of the party's central executive council and a member of parliament, and Barrister Mir Ahmad Bin Quasem Arman, foreign affairs adviser to the Ameer and a member of parliament.

Following consultations among members of the advisory council, the full two-year secretariat was formed on May 10. Alongside President Saber Ahmed, the new committee includes Majedul Islam as vice president, Abdullah Al Maruf as general secretary, and secretaries responsible for the Cultural Foundation, Baitul Mal, international affairs, education and training, publicity and youth affairs, social welfare and publications, student affairs, literature and culture, IT, and da'wah for the Japanese community.
