Islamic Mission Japan's central President, Hafez Maulana Saber Ahmed, and Secretary General, Engineer Abdullah Al Maruf, will undertake a four-day visit to Malaysia from June 16 to 19, at the invitation of the International Institute of Advanced Islamic Studies (IAIS), a think tank affiliated with the Malaysian government.

IAIS conducts research to support the Malaysian government's policy-making and strategic planning. The visit is expected to lay the groundwork for research and strategic cooperation between IAIS and Islamic Mission Japan.

Organisers say the discussions could open new opportunities for Japan's Muslim community. Islamic Mission Japan has asked members to pray for a safe and productive trip for the two leaders.
