The President and Secretary of Islamic Mission Japan participated in an international forum titled "Western Imperialism and Its Implications," held on June 18, 2026 at the boardroom of the International Institute of Advanced Islamic Studies in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The forum was jointly organized by the International Institute of Advanced Islamic Studies, Aliran, and the Hashim Sani Centre for Palestine Studies.

Discussions covered the political, economic and humanitarian effects of Western imperialism, with particular attention to the situations in Palestine, Cuba and Iran, as well as Western dominance in the global economic system. Diplomats, researchers, academics and social workers from a number of countries took part.

The participation of IMJ's President and Secretary reflects the organization's continued engagement with international discourse on issues affecting the Muslim ummah and oppressed communities worldwide. During the forum, they exchanged views with delegates from other countries on shared challenges and possible solutions.

The program concluded with an exchange of mementos, a group photo session and a lunch, providing an opportunity for participants to strengthen mutual ties and cooperation.
