A Reminder: Living as a Traveler in This World
Islamic Mission Japan recently shared a hadith from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari (6416): "Live in this world as though you were a traveler."
The reminder reflects a core teaching in Islamic tradition — that worldly life is temporary, and believers are encouraged to hold their attachment to material possessions and comfort lightly, keeping their focus on the hereafter.
Such reminders are shared periodically by the organisation as part of its ongoing da'wah efforts to encourage reflection among the Muslim community in Japan.
