Winter Pitha Festival & Language Day Drawing Contest 2026 (Kamata Sub-Chapter)

A winter pitha festival combined with a children's drawing competition for International Mother Language Day, including result announcements and a prize ceremony. Around 40 varieties of traditional Bangladeshi winter cakes were served, prepared by Bangladeshi women in the community.

The programme featured a keynote address from former IMJ central president ATM Misbahul Kabir, remarks from central vice-president Majedul Khokon, and entertainment from Dishari Japan performers. Books and copies of the Qur'an were distributed to children.
